Downtime
Really bitter and jealous over how Batman only wanted to talk to Aqualad (after...what? why?) so he exhausts himself on the rings in the gym, and misjudges his landing, causing him to lose his balance and fall backwards. He saves it by tucking into a flip, but it makes him stumble backwards into hitting the wall anyway, which he turns to punch hard enough to dent (and probably tear up his knuckles...) before stalking off to cool down and rehydrate.
Alfred opens the door to tell him Bruce is asking for him, and even though he's annoyed, he goes anyway. Instead of going to Bruce's study or the Cave, though, Alfred takes him outside and he's greeted by a basketball.
"What's this?" "Training: Hand-eye coordination." "One on one?" "If you think you can handle it."
It's a very simple exchange, but it's enough for Dick to know that Bruce didn't forget him, and isn't favouring someone else. It instantly makes him feel better, and the scene ends with Dick making a basket.
+ 5000 Bruce-dere
+ jealousy/bitterness (insecurityyy?)
+ some ideas of what he can do while training
+ playing basketball :O

Randomly made Robin icons, anticipating future deage events! Also helps when I have icons matching my memory write-up time periods. (I'm a weirdo.)
